As the Compensation Analyst you will develop and administer compensation and incentive programs, policies and procedures. This person will conduct research, analyze data and provide recommendations related to compensation. They are highly analytical and data-driven and serve as the subject matter expert for compensation questions.
Role Specific:
- Consistently demonstrate alignment with OCCU vision and values.
- Make informed compensation decisions including wage offers for new hires, promotions, bonuses and other discretionary requests. Adhere to established criteria to ensure pay equity across the organization.
- Participate in various compensation surveys by gathering and reporting internal data and obtaining compiled results.
- Assist in the annual salary review process, including data analysis, recommendations, and all associated reporting.
- Develop and regularly review incentive programs with a focus on driving behaviors that align with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership to determine the best outcomes for incentive plans pertaining to their areas of expertise.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to obtain feedback on existing incentive plans and understand departmental business objectives.
- Maintain and update incentive program documents, as needed.
- Oversee self-serve compensation tools and perform regular updates to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all data.
- Automate data workflows to reduce manual processes.
- Review job descriptions and determine salary ranges and eligibility for differentials and stipends in alignment with established evaluation systems.
- Utilize professional business writing and reporting skills. Produce accurate, reliable and timely reports.
- Coordinate and perform regular system changes and enhancements through multiple programs including the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Fulfill data requests and perform analysis to support departmental initiatives and organizational goals.
- Commit to continuous learning by gathering appropriate resources and applying learned knowledge to help foster an environment where best practices are translated into operations.
- Ensure compliance with all associated legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding personal employee information and proprietary company information.
To thrive in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of three years of experience in data analytics.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Human Resources and/or financial industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing incentive programs preferred.
Bachelors degree required and/or demonstrated experience driving measurable business outcomes.
An equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position will be considered in lieu of the outlined requirements.
