At Warner Creek Correctional Institution (WCCF) we are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to provide office support. This person must be able to multitask and provide support to multiple departments while providing a high level of customer service skills.

About The Job – Your Role

Your primary role will provide clerical support to the Business office, Food service Supervisor, Maintenance manager, Mail Room Supervisor, and the Superintendent’s office. Additionally, you will develop presentations, drafts, edits, and distribute correspondence which includes memos, letters, responses to AIC grievances, AIC communication forms, emails, initiates follow up letters, memos and other miscellaneous reports, newsletter articles and other information/documents from rough draft or general instructions. You will be responsible for logs, copies, files, scans, faxes, and distributes various documents as needed. Schedules appointments and meetings. Maintains manager's calendar and schedules appointments, makes travel arrangements, reservations, and reimbursement requests. Assists the Assistant to the superintendent in preparing for various department wide functions including handling necessary accommodations and set up prior to and supervising the AIC clean-up crew following the meeting or event.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR

An associate degree in any field; OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary range listed above is for non-PERS qualifying applicants. PERS qualifying applicants may be eligible for an adjusted range to reflect an additional 6.95%.

About The Process – What To Expect

  • Interview will be held with a panel of stakeholders who have completed panel assessment training. Scores will be determined based on predetermined questions and scoring guides. Requirements For Employment

The successful candidate for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, there may be some felony convictions that could disqualify you for this position. However, having a felony record does not exclusively restrict you from being considered as an applicant. CJIS clearance is done at the conditional job offer.
