A Day In The Life
- Create clear plans for Microsoft 365 services and respond effectively to user requests for new applications or features.
- Set up a governance structure for Power Apps and Power Automate to ensure secure applications meet guidelines.
- Review new Microsoft features to understand how they can best meet the business needs.
- Provide guidance on how to use Power Platform tools properly.
- Recommend alternative solutions when they are more cost-effective, easier or safer for ODOT.
- Research, analyze and secure the Microsoft 365 environment and make recommendations as needed.
- Work closely with the Microsoft 365 and Server and Application Infrastructure (SAIT) teams.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Information Services (EIS) to help ODOT understand changes in Enterprise Information Services (EIS) settings and policies, and explain these changes to management and users.
- Implement, configure, maintain and troubleshoot the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Work in an office environment 1-2 times a month or as needed. Hybrid work options available.

Minimum Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of information systems experience in demonstrated progressive knowledge of supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Power Platform, etc.) and a strong understanding of information security, role assignment and data classification:
- An associate's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND 5 years of information systems experience in demonstrated progressive knowledge of supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Power Platform, etc.) and a strong understanding of information security, role assignment and data classification
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field AND three (3) years of information systems experience in demonstrated progressive knowledge of supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Power Platform, etc.) and a strong understanding of information security, role assignment and data classification);
- Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field AND one (1) year of information systems experience in demonstrated progressive knowledge of supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Power Platform, etc.) and a strong understanding of information security, role assignment and data classification.

- Current and valid certifications related to Microsoft 365 application management such as Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP), Microsoft Certified Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified Power Platform Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals or other related certifications preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with Power Platform administration, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Demonstrated experience gathering customer requirements and architect solutions utilizing the Power Platform components.
- Demonstrated experience developing governance programs.
- A strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online.
