About clinical research : Dermatology clinical research studies skin, hair, and nail conditions to develop new dermatological treatments, improve existing ones, and enhance patient care. It is a crucial field in healthcare, as it provides the scientific evidence needed to ensure medical interventions are safe and effective, ultimately improving health outcomes. Dermatology clinical trials (also called “research studies”) enroll voluntary patients to help assess the safety and effectiveness of dermatological treatments or devices. These treatments or devices progress through multiple trial phases to ensure their safety and benefits before becoming available for public use.
