Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in various settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of color theory and demonstrate proficiency in both industrial and residential painting techniques. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Execute frame carpentry tasks as needed to support painting projects.
- Install fixtures and perform drywall work to ensure surfaces are ready for finishing.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks including caulking and concrete finishing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
- Apply basic math skills to measure areas accurately and calculate paint quantities required.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial painting or similar roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry, drywall installation, and fixture installation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in various painting techniques is essential.
- Experience with hand tools and equipment related to painting and finishing tasks is required.
- Handyman is a plus
