Seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner) to join Oregon Emergency Physicians, a democratic EM group dedicated to caring for patients at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, a large tertiary care, magnet-status hospital. · PA candidates are required to have at least a master's degree from a training program accredited by the ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant/Associate) and have a current PA-C designation having passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). Ideal PA candidates will have 3 years of experience in emergency medicine (or other supportive acute care based settings), and/or have completed an emergency medicine residency accredited by the Association of Post Graduate PA Programs (APPAP).*
· NP Candidates are required to have at least a Masters degree from an accredited institution, and have a FNP and/or Adult Acute Care NP certification/licensure. Preferred NP candidates would have ENP-Certification, and/or 3 years of Emergency Medicine clinical work (or other supportive acute care based settings).*
· Full time hours, with shifts covering typically in the late-morning, afternoon, & evening.
· Primarily managing moderate to low acuity patients in an independent practice style, with immediate side-by-side support of a highly physician staffed Adult and Pediatric department.

The Emergency Department serves over 80,000 visits per year, making it the busiest ER in Portland. Currently in the latter stages of a top to bottom renovation, the department expects to further expand its already high acuity and coverage over the coming months.
