Overview
The primary responsibility of the Field Service Technician is to diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul machinery and vehicles out at customer locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Record details of repairs made, and parts used.
- Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
- Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
- Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools.
- Use diagnostic equipment to properly diagnose and reprogram ECU’s when needed
- Write up description of repairs for billing
- Contact customers regarding repairs needed and completed while in the field
- Communicate with service office regarding scheduling of return appointments needed
- Keep up to date on all training requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle
- Report maintenance needs of vehicle to service manager

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and OEM Diagnostic software.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 2-5 years of service technician experience
LANGUAGE AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to management.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATION
- Forklift certified preferred
- Kubota Registered Technician preferred
- Valid Driver’s license (CDL & Med card Preferred)

Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
