What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Oregon Garden Resort?
The Oregon Garden Resort is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all facilities and equipment at the resort. You will work closely with other maintenance staff, as well as department heads and guests, to ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical work
- Respond to repair requests from guests and staff in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and facilities
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed
- Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations
- Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Personager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or related field
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
