Are you ready to make the magic happen? The Silverton Christmas Market is searching for a Logistics Supervisor to lead the behind-the-scenes operations that bring the holiday spirit to life. This is not just a seasonal role—you’ll play a critical part in planning and executing year-round projects that ensure the success of one of the region’s most beloved events.
What You’ll Do :
- Year-Round Planning : Collaborate with the Public Events Manager to develop set-up timelines, supply lists, and logistical strategies for the market and other projects.
- Event Logistics : Oversee the setup and teardown of the market’s iconic displays, ensuring everything is safe, secure, and stunning.
- Maintenance & Operations : Create and execute a proactive maintenance plan to keep stalls, decorations, and equipment in top condition year-round.
- Team Leadership : Manage a team of maintenance staff, grounds crew, and temporary event staff to bring our vision to life.
- Procurement & Inventory : Ensure timely purchasing of tools and supplies to prevent delays, and manage inventory of materials throughout the year.
- Collaboration : Work with vendors, suppliers, and contractors on repairs, installations, and upgrades to the market’s infrastructure.
- Site Oversight : Monitor cleanliness, coordinate waste management, and address any logistical issues promptly.
