Salary is dependent on experience. Each salary band is broken into three "steps," which correspond with an employee’s experience/tenure, proficiency and performance in that specific role. New employees will typically start at step I of our pay band to allow for later growth, although more experienced candidates may be eligible to start at step II or III. The OHSU Foundation has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity.

What You’ll Be Doing
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
- Provide hands-on and remote support to resolve IT issues and ensure all equipment is functional.
- Manage platforms like SharePoint and Track-It for efficient ticketing and documentation.
- Set up and maintain event equipment for successful organizational events.
- Oversee workstation setup, repair, cable management, and equipment purchases.
- Collaborate with OHSU/ITG teams on imaging and security best practices.
- Conduct IT onboarding for new employees, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
- Manage critical IT communications and ensure timely delivery.
- Act as a visual communications brand ambassador for digital signage.
- Provide Tier 3 system and database backup support as needed.
- Manage Active Directory permissions, identity management, and vendor liaison duties.
- Stay current on HIPAA/HITECH compliance and IT governance best practices.
- You excel at assisting users with varying levels of technical expertise, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
- You have a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and peripherals efficiently.
- You’re skilled at creating and maintaining documentation and are confident in onboarding and training employees on IT systems.
- You’re familiar with Help Desk and IT Asset Inventory tools, and you can quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- You work well independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- At least 3 years in a similar IT support role.
- Technical experience in supporting or training in the following technologies:
- Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policy
- Microsoft Office Suite 2019
- Adobe Digital Manager and Creative Suite
- Track IT!
- Salesforce, Marketing Cloud
- Back-up systems
- Mobile Technology (MS Remote/Citrix)
- Vulnerability software
- PC Imaging
- Conference Room Software
- Remote Support Tools
