Oregon Imaging Center is currently seeking a per diem CT Technologist to join our team in our outpatient radiology clinic in Eugene, Oregon. The clinic is opened from 7 : 00 am - 8 : 00 pm and the position would support weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities of the CT Technologist
- Understands, performs and accurately completes all examinations on CT and radiography, equipment as needed, following clinic practices and procedures.
- Understands and performs quality control checks on CT and radiography equipment, and clinic computers, and informs service and clinic administrator of any problems.
- Provides appropriate and thoughtful patient care in an empathetic manner. Acts professionally in interactions with patients and coworkers in the same manner as they would want to be treated.
- Prioritizes tasks and accomplishes them in a timely manner. Fills in for other technologists in their absence. Able to work and think through problems independently.
- Understands and is certified and can perform basic life-support as per the American Heart Association.
- Understands and applies sterile technique measures in all circumstances in which this is required.
- Maintains appropriate CME credits and mastery of new techniques and studies as they arise.
- Performs other duties as required for the efficient and optimal functioning of the clinic.
Education : Bachelor's or Associate degree in radiology technology
Experience / Training : Prefer two or more years' experience in the field of CT imaging
Licensure : ARRT (CT) or maintain temporary certification; OBMI and CPR certified
