Seasonal Rental and Sales Associate

Oregon Paddle Sports is hiring seasonal positions with the flexibility to work part- of full-time. The position will run through the summer with the possibility of extending into the fall.

This position entails:

- Welcoming paddlers of all skill and experience levels

- Demonstrating excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on helping find the “whole solution”

- Using Lightspeed POS system to check stock, pricing and ring customers up

- Maintaining store visual and stocking standards

- Helping make water sports more accessible to all through a robust, fast-paced rental program

- Maintaining, cleaning, organizing, and repairing rental equipment

- Staging outdoor rental reservation items so they are ready for customers upon their arrival

- Ensuring that all returned items are clean and in working condition before storing

- Working in a positive and productive manner both independently and with others

- Other duties as assigned

Dependability

Good verbal communication skills

Knowledge of water sports – kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, rafting is a major plus!

Employee should be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
