Special ed paraprofessional needed to support students at PVE. Must love kids and have excellent communication and collaboration skills. Must be able to manage a variety of classroom environments, abilities and behavior. Must adhere to a philosophy of, and belief in, that each and every student can learn given their needs are met.
Duties for this position will include:
- Working one-on-one with students
- Working with small groups of students
- Supporting students in and out of the classroom
- Support students' academic, behavioral and emotional needs
Must have a firm appreciation of student differences and be able to work with varying skill levels.
Positive, strong communication skills are necessary for this position.
Experience with elementary-aged students preferred.
Must be eligible to obtain a DPI Paraprofessional License.
