Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill multiple part time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Support Services (Athletics Tutor) positions for the Academics for Student Athletes (ASA) department at Oregon State University (OSU).
Through several learning services, Academics for Student Athletes provides academic and personal support to student athletes at Oregon State University (OSU). Tutoring students in specific courses and communicating with Academics for Student Athletes (ASA) staff about student progress are the two coequal purposes of this position.

Anticipated hourly rate : $15.15
Position Duties
- Tutor students in both context areas and academic skills (time management, note taking, organization, etc.). This requires differentiating instruction / assistance to match the strengths of the student.
- Keep your availability (day / time and course) up to date on our online scheduling system and document all sessions thoroughly using ASA's online documentation system.
- Attend mandatory training at the beginning of each term and as offered throughout the term. Tutors also need to take initiative to communicate directly, as situations warrant, with ASA Counselors.

High School student : Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
Additional Required Qualifications
Being a roommate with an OSU student athlete
