Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill multiple part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Outreach Assistant positions for the KidSpirit Program in the Division of Extension and Engagement at Oregon State University (OSU).
KidSpirit's goal is to provide a quality and safe environment for all campers, parents, and staff. Employees should always be prepared and willing to respond to the unexpected. KidSpirit prides itself in challenging its employees to grow as individual's while gaining professional experience.
Position Duties
100% - Specific duties and percentages vary depending on the student assignment but duties may include :
- The major duties of this position include creating graphics for program brochures and posters, social media, editing websites, and developing presentations. The student will use the InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, other platforms as necessary.
- Manage social media posts, create flyers, video, variety of projects to promote KidSpirit activities.

High School student : Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
Additional Required Qualifications
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 24 months.
