Oregon Truss is looking for an experienced Truss Designer to join our company as one of the industry leaders in truss manufacturing in the NW. We need an ambitious and solutions-focused person to add value to our team. Come be the exceptional talent behind our exceptional product!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create detail truss design plans for residential, agriculture and commercial buildings
- Review structural & architectural plans to create efficient truss designs and ensure they meet safety and performance standards
- Optimize Roof & Floor Systems
- Collaborate with Salesman, Project Managers and Customers to understand project requirements
Requirements
- Proficiency in Truss Design software
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural plans
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Communication skills. (Verbal, written, and electronic communications)
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- General construction experience (not required)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be available during core business hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Position currently available at the Dayton, OR manufacturing plant
- Remote position also currently available.
