What are the responsibilities and job description for the Budtender/ Inventory control position at Oregons Green Rush?
We are a fast-paced dispensary currently seeking bright, energetic, motivated and dependable persons to fill our budtender positions. Dispensary experience and strong retail experience with significant cannabis knowledge is Preferred. Positions will be Part-time. We need a person who has a flexible schedule and can work evenings and Weekends.
The Sales Associate ("Budtender") will educate customers regarding the store's offerings, remain knowledgeable about current store and industry offerings, and guide customers through the purchasing process. The Budtender is the key point of contact for customer interaction at the dispensary and must provide a positive and distinctive experience.

Retail/Customer service experience. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service .Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of, and a genuine passion for Cannabis and related products. Budtenders should possess a high level of cannabis strain knowledge. Budtenders should possess knowledge of cannabis cultivation, Budtenders should be familiar with the processes of producing extracts, concentrates, edibles, and all aspects of the cannabis industry. Must have a flexible Schedule. Must have reliable transportation. Must be reliable and punctual. Must be at least 21 years of age Available to start working ASAP Ability to sit and/or stand for 8 or more hours in a day . Ability to lift up to 25 pounds if necessary. Successful applicants MUST obtain an OLCC Recreational Marijuana Workers Permit.
Duties include: Determining the product needs of clients/customers and making product recommendations. Advising clients/customers on the effects and precautions of specific products. Explaining Cannabis basics to new medical and recreational clients. Advising clients/customers on methods of consumption. Understanding of OLCC Compliance Laws and Regulations. Handling product and inputting into a POS (Point of Sale) system to track transactions.
