What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cultivation Tech- Seasonal- Indoor/Outdoor position at Oregrown Industries, Inc.?
We are looking for 2 full-time seasonal indoor/outdoor Cultivation Techs to work at the beautiful Oregrown farm. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker, have the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, and self-motivated to maintain a clean and sterile work environment. They will be able to take direction and maintain a high level of attention to detail. At least 1 year of previous plant based experience is preferred, and starting pay is $18 per hour.
Weekend availability is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- General cultivation tasks that include but are not limited to plant care, indoor, greenhouse, harvest tasks:
- Cleaning and sanitation
- Prepping greenhouse
- Assisting with harvest
- Watering plants
- Assisting with transplanting
- Assisting with plant defoliation
- Following all rules & regulations as instructed by manager
Requirements:
- Must have OLCC Marijuana Workers permit
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, climbing, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds, repetitive movements)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Stamina throughout the work-day
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work indoor and outdoor, where temperatures fluctuate
- Must have reliable transportation
- Cultivation experience preferred
- Hard worker and team-player attitude is a must
