Infiltrator Water Technologies is a market leader within the onsite wastewater treatment industry, Infiltrator manufactures a variety of revolutionary products and innovative, environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional stone and pipe leachfield and concrete septic wastewater system components. We sell our products through wholesale distribution across the United States and Canada for use on properties with onsite wastewater treatment systems.

Core Responsibilities:
- Grow decentralized (large/commercial) system sales of advanced treatment systems by at least 50% per year for first three years in the defined region. Growth rate to be determined after three years.
- Build long-term relationships with decision makers (civil/environmental consulting engineers and onsite wastewater engineers/designers, regulatory agencies, contractors, and developers) within a defined region to gain product specifications through face-to-face meetings, lunch and learns, industry events, and active work in industry organizations. Track projects and relationship building through existing customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Activity Targets (typical month)
- Meet with thirty consulting engineers or design influencers via face-to-face and web meetings or presentations.
- Two formal presentations (lunch and learns, chapter meetings, or other)
- Add nine large commercial advanced treatment system project opportunities to the sales pipeline.4.Leverage CRM system as a tool to track and close specified projects and deliver monthly forecast reports.
4. Provide occasional regulatory and technical support related to single-family advanced treatment systems sold by Infiltrator.
Qualifications (must have):
- Strong skill in presenting technical product information in individual, small group, and large group settings.
- Strong customer/client focus and demonstrated ability to identify and close (gain commitment for) large project specifications and purchases.
- Problem solving, excellent communication skills, ability to comprehend wastewater treatment/dispersal concepts and methods, self-starting, results oriented, and has the ability to adapt.
- B. S. Degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- Excellent skillset with Microsoft Office 365.
- Must be able to travel within the sales territory and maintain responsive communication with internal contacts and external customers. Overnight travel requirement varies between 1 and 3 nights per week.
- Comfortable and highly productive in a home office setting and while travelling.
- Experience collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Territory geography - Midwest - must reside in WI, MN, IA, MO, KS, NE, SD or ND.
EDUCATION:
A BS (Bachelor of Science) degree in engineering is preferred. PE (Professional Engineer) a plus. Experience in a complimentary field may be substituted for education requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Primarily indoor office environment and may include limited time in production areas. Travel requirements may include operation of a motor vehicle, airplane travel, and overnight stays in temporary lodging. May require the ability to visit project sites that are situated on a variety of developed and undeveloped terrain/locations. Includes exposure to outside weather conditions and occasional exposure to dust, other outside elements, and wastewater that may require the proper use of personal protective equipment including but not limited to gloves. Work to be done during manufacturing business hours, however this position may on occasion work outside business hours to support department and business needs. Occasional long hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regular job duties include seeing, speaking, hearing, reading, writing, legible handwriting, keyboarding, prolonged periods of sitting including extended time viewing a computer screen. Intermittent physical activity includes but is not limited to touching, holding, grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching above shoulders and below knees, low back bending, twisting, turning, kneeling, crawling, stooping, squatting. standing, walking, and climbing stairs and ladders. Unassisted light lifting and/or carrying of under 20 lbs. is required. May also include occasional unassisted lifting and/or carrying of up to 50 lbs., lifting and/or carrying over 50 lbs. must be assisted. Operation of a motor vehicle and/or airplane travel may be required. Travel needs are determined by the department supervisory staff based on business need, required skill base, and assigned job tasks and responsibilities. Travel may require the ability to visit project sites that are situated on a variety of developed and undeveloped terrain/locations.
Salary : $78,354 - $129,126
