About the Role
A Production Operator plays a crucial role in loading/unloading hazardous materials from and onto tank trucks, box vans, railcars, and other shipping containers. Key responsibilities include:
- Daily involvement with material handling activities such as loading and unloading tankers, box vans, and other transportation vessels.
- Plant housekeeping activities including cleaning, painting, and lawn maintenance (mowing/weed eating).
- Conducting physical inventory.
- Completing documents.
- Collecting samples.
- Assisting plant operations personnel as instructed.
- Aiding in daily compliance with the EHS&S mission statement.
- Performing duties outlined in the RCRA Hazwaste Job Duties Matrix.
- Passing fit-for-duty requirements.
- Aiding in daily compliance with ORG Chem Group's quality policy.
