·        Take a proactive, hands-on approach with all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the companies (Orgain Building Supply, Trusco TN, and Continental Supply)

·        Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives

·        Support General Manager’s in establishing sales and financial goals for the company in coordination with Ambassador Supply leadership and assist in meeting these goals.

• Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
• Primary responsibilities include oversight of (GL, AR, AP, cash management, lease management, tax filings, group insurance, direct interaction with Ambassador Supply (parent company), and coordination with human resources on all payroll related items, as necessary.
• Monthly recurring responsibilities include month-end closing (sales reports, commissions, financial statement processing and report publication, journal entries, cash account reconciliations, G/L account reconciliations, sales tax return filings, financial analysis, Month in Review preparation and participation
• Daily responsibilities include cash management and forecasting, cash reconciliation, review daily reports (examining for errors or exceptions: gross profit exception reports, inventory adjustment reports, daily accounts receivable balancing), Assist in accounts receivable collections (direct interaction with past due accounts)
• Annual responsibilities include annual company budget preparation, annual financial audit – external auditor interaction, annual physical inventory management
• Responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reports to Ambassador Supply and working collaboratively with parent company Corporate Controllers and affiliate Controllers.
• Manage the overall activities of the Accounting/Finance and IT
• Member of site senior leadership team.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

·        BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA, and/or CPA highly desirable

·        Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a progressively responsible financial leadership role, preferably in the construction industry.  manufacturing and wholesale.

·        Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the company with staff at remote locations

·        Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

·        Strong experience working with financial and operational data and databases

·        High level of integrity and dependability with a keen sense of urgency and results oriented

·        Proficient with office productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with BisTrack EPR and Great Plains financial platforms a plus.

·        Valid driver’s license and record of the appropriate type and class to operate company vehicles

·        Ability to travel weekly between locations. (Distance 20 miles.)
