Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental care needs. The ideal candidate will possess a successful history or caring for the mentally ill, strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This role requires a personal who can work well under stress and pressure. The ideal candidate will come strongly recommended with verifiable references.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions are but not limited to :
MUST BE WILLING TO WORK 1 HOUSE SHIFT PER WEEK
- Oversees assigned operations at the house .
- Responsible for the interviewing, placement, and complete training of home managers.
- Completes Home Manager Competency Assessment.
- Responsible for the supervision of Home Managers assigned.
- Provides consistent application of policies, procedures and care practices to location supervised.
- Ensures progressive corrective actions and trainings are fair and timely.
- Provides feedback to home managers for annual performance reviews.
- Assists compliance and regulations with final responses and correspondence to all rights or other investigations and external site inspections.
- In conjunction with the finance department, assists home managers with monitoring overtime and site financial plans/budgets. Ensure home managers have a demonstrated understanding of budgetary reporting.
- Ensures completion of onsite training for home managers, assistant home managers, leads and direct care staff. Ensures competency assessments are complete for all positions.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human service preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience of previous management or supervisory experience in a residential care environmently ill
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to use office equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask and work under stress
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

Pay: $21.00 per hour

- On Call -as needed- As needed rate is 1.5x per hour, after 90 probationary period
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- mental healthcare management: 2 years (Required)
- supervising 2 years (Preferred)
