Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory procedures, analyzing samples, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and quality control standards. This role is essential in supporting our commitment to delivering accurate and reliable data while adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory procedures including sample preparation, testing, and analysis.
- Collect and record data accurately, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards.
- Utilize veterinary terminology to assist in the analysis of biological samples.
- Maintain compliance with FDA regulations and ensure adherence to quality control protocols.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory methods and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with GLP standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques relevant to the field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology is preferred.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, quality control measures, CGMP, and GLP practices.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to laboratory work.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is a plus but not mandatory.
