Summary Of Role
The Distribution Center Receiver will use material handling equipment to receive pallets into the warehouse based on scheduled unloading appointments. This position is responsible for accurately verifying and signing the bills of lading and putting product into inventory.
This is a Safety Sensitive position. The Distribution Center is open 365 days a year including holidays.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The typical hourly wage for a new hire is $20.00 per hour exclusive of fringe benefits. This position also receives a $1.00 per hour shift premium between the hours of 6pm and 6am and on weekends and an additional $1 per hour shift receiver premium. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly wage compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the hourly wage range is not typical.

Summary Of Role

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Compare incoming bill of lading with physical loads at the time of receipt to ensure correct product, quantities, and lots
- Operate RF equipment used to properly receive and put away product
- Ensure proper quality of product and pallet when receiving loads
- Report any damages or leaking product to shift supervisor and document according to SOP
- Understand safe operation and use of pallet inverter
- Use the infeed process or manually put product in allocated location
- Meet all requirements for receiver performance metrics
- Communicate with other shifts and supervisors daily
- Daily clean-up of assigned area
- Place damaged and leaking product in the appropriate area
- Select samples for QA as directed
- Cross train and assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, ability to push/pull objects up to 2,500 pounds using material handling equipment
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions; work effectively and maintain deadlines
- Basic computer skills; ability to log on to and enter information into application interface
- Basic math skills including arithmetic; ability to perform and interpret basic calculations related to count, weight, time, rate, and distance
- Strong work ethic with history of good attendance
- Must possess and maintain forklift operator certificate, and material handling equipment
- Must be able to perform physical work in a variety of positions and at various heights includes bending, stooping, reaching and twisting of arms and body movement as well as walking and standing for extended periods of time
- Tolerate a variety of temperatures and working conditions
- Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to communicate and provide customer service to coworkers effectively
- Ability to adjust to change in work tasks depending on current business needs
