Job Title: Facility Supervisor (Front-End Loader Experience)
Location: Lexington, South Carolina
Employment Type: Full Time; 40 hours a week; Monday to Thursday or Wednesday to Saturday
Job Summary:
Organics Management is seeking a Facility Supervisor with front-end loader experience to oversee daily operations at our facility. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating heavy equipment, particularly front-end loaders, and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise facility operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Operate and oversee the use of front-end loaders and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Monitor facility maintenance, coordinating repairs and servicing as required.
- Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with upper management to improve processes and productivity.
- Address and resolve any operational issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within an industrial, recycling, composting, or similar environment.
- Proficiency in operating front-end loaders and other heavy equipment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and environmental compliance.
- Ability to work in an outdoor, physically demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in heavy equipment operation or safety compliance.
- Experience in the composting, waste management, or agricultural industry.
