POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a pivotal role providing the strategic financial analysis which will drive OrganOx’s success. The ideal Director of FP&A will be a hard-working and motivated individual with a strong analytical and problem-solving background. You will partner with leaders across the organization to analyze business performance and provide actionable insights which help drive organizational strategy. As a member of a dynamic leadership team you will impact the performance, efficiency, and profitability of our entire organization. Your strategic vision and leadership will be key in helping OrganOx achieve its mission of making every donated organ count.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain all elements of the company’s strategic plan, financial models and analyses, financial and operational dashboards, budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts (for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement), data warehouse and management reporting tools;
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual executive management presentation decks;
- Create dynamic financial and operational plans that allow for multiple scenario analyses and determine the recommended course of action;
- Oversee daily and weekly sales reporting process, works with commercial leaders and others to develop predictive models with supportive commentary;
- Assist CEO and CFO with investor relations;
- Assist in driving operational improvements and supports high visibility projects as needed;
- Proactively challenges the status quo and investigates issues independently and as a team;
- Adhere to the letter and spirit of OrganOx’s Code of Conduct and all other company policies;
- Ensure compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role;
- Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, and at least 5 years of people management experience;
- Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience;
- Deep knowledge of financial strategies;
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
- A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior;
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
