Analyst

Job Description: ORI Capital’s US Team is seeking a highly motivated analyst to join our team who will be based in Boston working remotely with west coast and Hong Kong team. ORI Capital is a venture capital firm with offices in Hong Kong and Boston which invests in innovative biotech companies globally. We focus on the disease states that have the highest mortality rates: cancer, metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases. For 2025, we are looking for an analyst to help on aspects of deal cycle including portfolio management, fundraising, etc. Also need to help coordinate routine operational work with service providers. We are a small and nimble team looking for a candidate who has strong ownership, entrepreneurial and is a pro-active team player.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in aspects of investment cycle from fundraising, investing, portco management and exits

· Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders

· Work with US/HK team to help with content generation

· Ability to work across time zones and teams in west coast and Hong Kong

Assist in operational matters

· Coordinate with service providers to complete routine tax & annual filings, monthly financial reporting for the US firm to the Hong Kong firm

· Manage US firm payroll with help of service providers, including monthly pay runs, expense reimbursements, and associated tax and compliance matters

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field

· 1-2 years of work experiences in investment banking, PE/VC, strategy consulting, business development or corporate strategy, bonus if in healthcare industry

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills, strong business acumen, especially healthcare related, and demonstrated ability to present key issues around complex investment decisions

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with experienced entrepreneurs, executives, etc.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
