What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Class B Driver position at Orica?
Join Orica as a CDL Class B Driver and become part of a team that shapes the future of mining through innovation and commitment to safety. We invite you to be a part of our Commercial team, where you will have the opportunity to drive and operate our bulk trucks (Mobile Mixing Units), installing essential blasting products for various customers.
Your role will consist of a mix of driving and physical work, with 40% driving and 60% involved in the installation of blasting products. Responsibilities include loading products, operating a CDL truck, pulling hoses, and climbing on and off the truck in varying weather conditions. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring all operations are executed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Work Schedule :
- Monday through Friday
- Home every night
- Local driving (1 - 3.5 hours)
- Early morning starts (4 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 AM)
- 10-12 hours per day approximately
- Overtime may be necessary
