About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Solutions Architect to join our team in Winnemucca, NV. The Integrity and Reliability Electrical/Instrument Engineer is responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and optimal performance of electrical, instrumentation and distributed control systems (DCS) equipment on the Winnemucca site.
The role involves conducting analyses, inspections, and evaluations to identify potential issues, improve system performance, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Integrity and Reliability Electrical/Instrument Engineer collaborates with site teams and Orica global asset management teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance the performance, reliability and longevity of critical electrical, instrumentation and DCS assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain condition monitoring techniques to detect early signs of electrical, instrumentation, and DCS systems failure.
- Assist with the implementation of the site Alarm Management Philosophy including DCS changes.
- Liaise with maintenance teams to support and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
- Project Support: Support or lead engineering projects related to equipment upgrades, replacements, and modifications.
