Job Description
The Mechanical Technician will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all plant equipment is running efficiently and effectively. This includes regular preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, making necessary repairs, and completing all related documentation.
The technician will also be responsible for providing maintenance support to the operations department, including weekly oil and grease checks of rolling stock and certain process equipment. Additionally, they will install and test various rotating equipment, pumps, seals, and gaskets, and perform basic testing of motors and sensors using different testers.
