Morris National Account Rep

As our Morris National Account Representative, you will be responsible for working directly with existing and prospective Morris Costumes customers nationwide to increase the revenue and profitability of Morris Costumes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Meets or exceed established sales goals set by the Morris Costumes Division
1. Manages key customers (typically accounts or customer groups over $5,000 in annual revenue) that may consist of hundreds of buying entities primarily over the phone (95%) with occasional travel and trade shows (5%)
2. Prospects for new opportunities ($5,000 ) by calling and following up with sales leads generated through marketing channels and/or industry partnerships
3. Oversees client specific sales strategies that may require interaction with other areas of the company (product development and/or outside vendors)
4. Acts as the primary point person for industry marketplaces and technology connections that support customer purchase transactions
5. Assists in the marketing strategy for tradeshows; be involved in constructing and set up/break down of the booth for Morris Costumes at trade shows as needed
6. Attends Trade Shows as needed
7. Conducts follow-up after trade shows for all customer and new prospect needs, including, but not limited to, sample mailings, follow-up letters and phone calls to close sales from programs, products and relationships that were presented and/or generated at each trade show
8. Develops and maintains knowledge of competition, pricing, strategies, handling of customer needs and problem resolution
9. Develop and maintain knowledge of competition's primary products and markets to analyze impacts on Morris Costumes' business in competitive markets
10. Provides key reporting on monthly basis to include but not limited to; Revenue Forecasts, Account Reviews, and Activity Reports
11. Maintains regular and predictable attendance
12. Abides by all policies and procedures of Morris Costumes and Oriental Trading Company
13. Must be able to attend face to face meetings on short notice
14. Work requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors as well as online meeting platforms like Microsoft Teams

1. Attends company functions, meetings, seminars, etc. which may not impact their own customer base directly but will have a positive impact on the company as a whole
2. Documents sales efforts for current customers, prospects and sales campaigns through standardized forms, reports and systems
3. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Education or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum three years Sales, Account Management or presentation experience required

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
• Strong telephone prospecting and appointment setting skills/experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work effectively in the office, from home or while traveling

• Ability to utilize strong organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to travel as needed

• Ability to handle customers in a professional and courteous manner

• Ability to work extra hours when needed

• Ability to perform job duties in a safe manner
