The Graphic Design Lead is responsible for shaping and maintaining Origami’s brand's visual identity, leading the expansion of brand guidelines across physical and digital touch points while establishing and enforcing best practices across the marketing team and larger organization. This person is responsible for leading design best practices and vendors, driving consistency across channels, and owning the detail production of deliverables.
Starting base pay for this role is between $77,760 - $97,200 . The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).

Responsibilities
- Leverages brand foundation to develop sustainable and scalable brand guidelines to ensure a consistent foundation and cohesive visual identity across all digital and physical channels.
- Establishes and enforce best practices, collaborating within marketing and across the organization to educate those engaging with brand elements
- Oversees strategic direction of the brand and the end-to-end development of all creative assets, ensuring a seamless and compelling brand experience across various channels.
- Maintains organized files build to spec, establishing an internal brand asset library and ensuring partners / vendors have access to appropriate files.
- Creates and implements the optimal design process to drive collaborate with stakeholders while maintaining brand consistency
- Works to deadlines and consistently hits targets; keeps business objectives at the center of the project while balancing efficiency and quality.
- Partners with CMO and other organizational leaders to socialize and educate others about the marketing and design function at the organization.
- Maintains balance of hands-on visual design work with managing internal and external resources.
- Mentors other Marketing Team members and others across the organization to demonstrate the value of design and ensure accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5 years of hands-on brand design experience, including the implementation of new guidelines, expansion of brand systems, and creation of best practices.
- Prior experience leading branding efforts for a SaaS organization and a proven track record of leading related processes and projects.
- Extremely strong project management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both with internal stakeholders and external marketing professionals.
- Understanding of branding trends and how to incorporate them into an overall branding strategy.
- Strong collaboration skills to effectively work with internal stakeholders and other marketing team members.
