The Customer Support Specialist I performs all steps in the Origence Lending Services funding process. This position is responsible for answering all incoming phone calls in a timely manner preventing excessive hold time. The position requires complete end to end expertise in processing, app entry and funding of loans originating from dealerships. Accuracy and understanding of the Origence Lending Services guidelines are essential to the success of this position.

What you will do:

  • Answers all incoming phone calls from dealerships and credit unions
  • Resolves issues regarding specific deals and understands all aspects of the indirect lending program process
  • Verifies contract is within approval guidelines
  • Conducts customer interviews as required and/or designated by the credit union
  • Inputs application/contract information into the host system
  • Communicates to the credit union and dealerships on missing information or exceptions to resolve funding issues

The ideal candidate:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalency

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in call center environment

Specialized Skills:

  • Sound decision making, analytical problem solving, proactive thinking, negotiation ability, multi-tasking, flexibility and strong customer service skills
  • Proven ability in underwriting
  • Proficiency in processing, funding and compliance of loans
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work without constant supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Willing to work in a team environment
  • Spanish speaking a plus

Hours of operation: Monday – Friday: 7am – 8pm & Saturday 8am – 7pm

The starting hourly range for this full-time position is $ - $ per hour. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
