The Loan Processor Lead is responsible for supporting the Operations Supervisor with day-to-day oversight of processing queues. Ensure focused queue management, communication and collaboration to achieve processing within SLAs and high-quality rates on production. Participate in the development and administration of processing guidelines for credit union partners. Responsible for providing excellent dealer, credit union, member and internal service to accurately complete documentation vetting/verification and funding of leases and loans. Actively processes and funds applications for multiple partners, multiple products, and in multiple systems. Support onboarding and training to achieve processing metrics and goals. Act as a role model in terms of quality, productivity, and professionalism.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Team Lead - Queue Management
- Ensure that assigned team members are providing accurate and prompt processing within guidelines.
- Support handling of escalated issues.
- Collaborate with peers and direct team members to ensure all queues remain within SLAs.
- Participate in the implementation of departmental system improvements. Provide recommendations for and implement process improvements. Assist with procedure documentation.
- Contribute to preparation and maintenance of volume & metrics reporting.
- Assists with meeting operational and departmental goals (i.e., department budget, overtime, service levels, turnaround times, and volume goals).
- Provide day-to-day onboarding support, training, and training feedback.
- Complete second reviews prior to issuing communication or funding to ensure consistent high-quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with dealerships and credit unions.
- Identify trends and systemic issues and communicate to appropriate leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Processing & Held Offering Follow-Up
- Review and validate quality of contracts to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Process loans and leases accurately and in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reviews documentation to ensure it corresponds with loan application; confirms accuracy of member information, conducts a comprehensive review of income verification, may enter data in Loan Origination System, and funds in accordance with loan officers instructions, stipulations, and credit union procedures.
- Validate loan and lease contracts, payments, taxes, and documentation to ensure it meets program.
- Understand, incorporate, and support training of associated regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ability to process for multiple credit unions, multiple products, and process within multiple systems.
- Conducts second reviews in areas of expertise.
- Fill complexity voids such as specialized queues and detailed processes.
- Follow up to collect missing items and stipulations through associated system. (written)
- Document work thoroughly, professionally, and consistently following internal or credit union procedures.
- Make outbound calls to borrowers, dealers, and credit unions to facilitate education and complete funding.
- Direct efforts toward efficiently maximizing remediation of issues to achieve funding.
- Conducts audits of held offering queues, ensuring timely rejection of contracts per guidelines.
- Communication
- Ensure all communication (internal, external, oral, written) is handled in a professional manor.
- Communicate all issues, production or otherwise and escalate as necessary.
- Collaborate to resolve client and internal support issues within Origence Lending Services and Origence teams.
- Participate in client meetings as necessary.
- Contribute to, and lead team meetings.
The Ideal Candidate:
Education:
- High School education or equivalency required.
- Associate or bachelors degree a plus
Experience:
- Minimum two to three years industry experience.
- Must demonstrate expertise, high performance, and accuracy in processing.
- Multiple systems and product experience preferred.
- Knowledge of financial institution operations, regulatory compliance, point of purchase or indirect lending or leasing.
- Versatile in Indirect and/or Direct credit union loans.
- Experience training and/or documenting processes and procedures.

The starting range for this full-time position is $17.70 - $22.11 per hour. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidates geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at companys discretion on an individual basis.
