What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control position at Origin USA?
Origin is a global leader in the design and manufacture of custom aluminum bi-fold doors and windows, and we are looking for an Inventory coordinator.
Logistics Coordinator Job Duties:
· Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
· Arrange transportation, schedule delivery dates, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
· Receives products and coordinates delivery
· Prepares loads for shipment
· Takes steps to avoid quality control issues
· Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels
· Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
· Fleet management
· Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
· Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
· Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
· Interaction with inside sales teams and customer
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
