Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately responding to customer inquiries and concerns
- Assist customers with product information and issue resolution
- Process transactions, returns, and exchanges in a timely manner
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Sanitize work stations and store fixtures to ensure a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment
- Restock and reface merchandise on the shelves

We are looking for a part time employee to help fill out our current roster. The position we are hiring for would be at our Original 151 location in The Mall at Fairfield Commons. To be completely transparent, we are looking for another person staffed on the weekends as we have lately been stuck at the registers and unable to do simple tasks (like stocking, refacing merchandise, organizing, etc.) due to heavy traffic in the store. An extra pair of hands could really give us the time we need to make sure our store stays in good shape!
The ideal schedule for us for this position would be as follows:
Saturdays from 11AM-8PM
Sundays from 12PM-6PM
That being said, we can also offer just the Saturday shift if desired as it is the most valuable to us.
Regarding pay, the position is an entry level retail job with no experience required and we start at $12 per hour. Pay can be increased through multiple avenues such as: yearly raises around Christmas, bonuses, as well as gaining keyholder responsibilities (which comes with unlocking or locking the store for the day). As far as whether there is room to advance within the company, that much is uncharted territory if I'm being honest! We are a growing small business and it looks like we may open additional locations. Should that happen, salaried management positions may become available but we are unsure of what the future holds for now.

A day working at 151 starts with greeting customers with a smile! The best thing about working here is the people that come in to shop or look around are so excited to be here. Folks come from all over the country to nerd out with us about Pokémon and seeing their faces light up when they find their favorite is so satisfying. Throughout the day, you will ring people out for their purchases with a Square PoS system that is incredibly simple and easy to use even if you haven't used one before. Refacing products in the store so the shelves look organized and aesthetically pleasing is a common downtime activity. Additionally, once items get low, you would enter the back room and find the missing items to restock the shelves up front. Minor cleaning tasks like dusting or sweeping will also be performed in downtime. When everything is looking good and we're slow, we have a TV playing episodes of Pokemon for you to watch!
