We are looking for associates who are ready to go as ‘all-rounders’; multitask masters working in a team of multitask masters - constantly moving around in the crazy flow of a busy hospitality rush hour, and staying very active prepping during luls in customer flow. We provide the training and honing of these skills which empower you to grow while providing valuable life skills. Prior work experience for the current position is sought after.

As an Original Barista Associate, some of your responsibilities include:

• Taking great care of our Customers. OB Associates are genuinely friendly in their interactions and perform comprehensive hospitality service. They not only satisfy Customer requests, but also anticipate our Customers’ needs. Some of the ways we serve our Customers include smiling, offering a sincere greeting, explaining OB menu items and taking purchase orders, handing orders to Customers, asking Customers about their drinks and experience during their visit to OB, and thanking them for their visit.
• Receiving and entering Customer orders with a smile and taking payments
• Organizing and handing out all drink and food orders, ensuring they meet Original Barista standards.
• Brewing all types of caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages.
• Working in a team-oriented environment. OB team members anticipate each others’ need for assistance and are gladly willing to perform it. And to ask for help when it is needed!
• Keeping a spotless and shiny environment by cleaning workstations, the store, and surrounding area.
• We hustle with great pride to create jarringly flavorful beverages and food. As you grow with OB, you’ll learn very useful everyday skills and have opportunities to earn raises.

Qualifications include:

• Prior work experience in hospitality
• Possessing a genuinely friendly and positive approach to people and tasks
• Happy and willing to work as a team
• Strong work ethic
• Problem solving skills
• Communicating comfortably with all individuals
• Strong basic mathematics on the fly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Starting at $16.50 per hour, tips are usually on the higher side at OB - service counts!
