What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Coordinator position at Original Cream Puffs?
Original Cream Puffs is seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team at the Wisconsin State Fair this year. This is a temporary position running from May through the end of September, with the candidate being required to be available for the full 11 days of the Wisconsin State Fair (July 31 - August 10, 2025).
As our Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for curating and managing content across various platforms (Facebook and Instagram), posting content, engaging with our followers, and showcasing Wisconsin’s Most Iconic Dessert. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a beloved Wisconsin tradition and bring our brand’s presence to life online!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and schedule engaging social media content for Facebook and Instagram.
- Capture and share photos and videos that highlight Original Cream Puffs.
- Interact with followers, responding to questions and comments.
- Promote various giveaways and promotions leading up to the Wisconsin State Fair.
- Monitor social media trends and make recommendations for improving engagement.
Requirements:
- Experience managing social media platforms, especially in a marketing or promotional context.
- Strong writing, communication, and photo/video editing skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be available during the 11 days of the Wisconsin State Fair
- A passion for food, events, and Wisconsin traditions is a plus!
