We are looking for full-time manufacturing employees for various mattress-building positions for our new Tampa factory. We are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join our manufacturing team. The individuals must have a positive attitude and good communication skills. Integrity and desire to strive for excellence are at the core of who we are. These position requires a focus on efficiency and attention to detail. While experience in these areas is preferred, it is not required. Please see list of job responsibilities and expectations listed below.

With some of our products weighing up to 125 pounds, we require that our delivery driver and factory employees are comfortable with heavy lifting.

We are also looking for these individuals to be willing to work on the delivery truck, when needed.

Mattress Production Worker Responsibilities:

Upholstery:

  • Upholster mattresses and box springs with various fabrics and materials, ensuring smooth and consistent application.
  • Secure materials using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g., stapling, gluing).

Sewing:

  • Perform sewing tasks as required, including stitching seams, attaching labels, and creating mattress borders.
  • Maintain consistent stitch quality and accuracy.

Material Handling and Cutting:

  • Accurately measure and cut materials (fabric, foam, padding, etc.) according to precise specifications.
  • Minimize material waste through efficient cutting practices.
  • Maintain accurate material inventory.

Quality Control and Inspection:

  • Inspect finished mattresses and box springs for defects (e.g., uneven seams, tears, incorrect sizing).
  • Ensure products meet established quality standards.
  • Document and report any quality issues.

Packaging:

  • Properly package finished mattresses and box springs for shipment, ensuring protection from damage.
  • Label packages accurately with product information.

Efficiency and Quality:

  • Work efficiently to meet production quotas while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Optimize work processes to improve productivity.
  • Pay rate is based on individuals quality and efficiency.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production goals.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve any production problems.

Punctuality and Attendance:

  • Maintain consistent punctuality and attendance.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and meetings.

Delivery Assistance:

  • Assist with loading and unloading mattresses and box springs onto delivery trucks when needed.
  • Jumping on delivery trucks as needed.

General Workplace Maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $23.75 per hour
