We are looking for experienced Butcher/Meat Cutters to work 1 or 5 days/week. We are interested in the right person for part time and full time availability. Must be experienced, minimum 3 years butchering and cutting meats preferred in a retail setting. Must possess knife skills, know how to clean and cut steaks, must know how to safely operate a bandsaw, commercial grinder, & slicer. We are friendly place to work with amazing customers that appreciate a great piece of quality meat. This is perfect position for someone that is retired or looking for a change. Position also requires prep work, slicing lunchmeat, cleaning and sidework.
Summary
As a Meat Cutter, you will be essential in delivering high-quality meat products to our customers while ensuring food safety and adherence to industry standards. Reporting to the Butchery Manager, your core skills in knife skills, food handling, and culinary experience will be vital in preparing and packaging various meat cuts. Your expertise in food production and customer service will enhance the shopping experience, while your relevant restaurant experience will contribute to a collaborative and efficient work environment.
