Preschool Teacher

Seeking an experienced assistant or float teacher who is a self-starter and team player who loves kids, art, nature, music and fun!

This position would start December 2024. Position could become full time if desired.

Get paid to PLAY and TEACH children mindfulness techniques and tools to help them become emotionally intelligent and compassionate human beings, while also supporting a solid academic foundation from which they can continue to grow.

Successful candidates must have:

-A high school diploma or equivalent
-At least 2 years experience as a teacher of children 2-5 years old
-Experience with curriculum implementation
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Leadership skills and self-accountability
-Experience and skills working as a team
-Proficient w/ systems such as, Zoom, Google Drive and Calendar, email, and communication systems (or teachable).
-Interest in mindfulness and eco-literacy

Qualities: nurturing, grounded, mindful, emotionally intelligent, adaptable/flexible, teachable, open-minded, compassionate, empathetic, dynamic, reliable, responsible, and professional.

Preferred:
-Infant/Child/Adult CPR & First Aid (must obtain within 30 days of hire)
-Current on the Early Childhood Project, Practitioner Registry level 2 or higher

Pay: $16.55 - $18 per hour to start DOE plus benefits: If interested and offered, once moved to a Lead you will receive: raise, Paid holidays off, DPC health insurance option, paid training, childcare discount and more.
