The Hanley Foundation, a West Palm Beach-based non-profit organization committed to addressing addiction through prevention, treatment, advocacy, and recovery support, seeks a part-time Staff Psychiatrist. Applicants must be board-certified in Florida. This position is based in our West Palm Beach Treatment Center, with the possibility of remote work. The Staff Psychiatrist will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and individual and family therapy for adult programs.
- Provide consultation to clinical staff and other department heads on managing patients with psychiatric co-morbidity.
- Provide, when necessary, ongoing education and training for clinical staff.
- When appropriate, help facilitate voluntary and non-voluntary patient psychiatric placements into outside agencies.
- When indicated, provide psychotherapy and psycho-educational sessions to patients.
- Consult the intake department on screening patients with psychiatric comorbidity for admissions and help facilitate alternate placements when needed.
- Provide, as needed, weekly staff treatment plan update meetings and consultations in the respective unit to ensure quality clinical supervision of psychiatric concerns and issues.
- May be required to present on topics related to their position at local, regional, and national conferences representing the Hanley Foundation.
- Assist with overseeing patient care, ensuring adherence to APA standards for diagnosis and treatment.
- Supervise staff and facilitate meetings to provide practical, optimal patient services.
- Implement policies and organizational philosophies and track and communicate outcomes.
- Capable of managing a budget.
- Understanding specific issues, comorbidities, and pain management techniques relevant to the patient population.
- Provide supervision to psychiatric residents and fellows as needed.
- Uphold all Hanley Foundation Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain client / potential client confidentiality following Hanley Foundation’s Policy.
