What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant position at Orinda Veterinary Clinic?
Orinda Veterinary Clinic is looking to expand our Staff with Exceptional individuals!
We are a private veterinarian owned, community based small animal clinic seeking loyal and dedicated individuals. Our goal is to teach our staff the skills needed to provide compassionate care to pets and their owners.
Must be motivated to learn, responsible, reliable and flexible. Must be polite and caring with a genuine interest in helping animals and their people.
Some Duties of a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant:
Providing outstanding customer service
Greeting clients and pets
Answering phones
Cleaning and stocking
Filling prescriptions
Scheduling appointments
Invoicing and collecting payment
Assisting Technicians and Veterinarians
Etc.

Veterinary experience is not required to apply. We are willing to train and educate individuals who show a desire and capacity to learn.
Full day shifts may consists of 10 hour shifts (4 days/ week) or 8 hour shifts (5 days/week). Part time schedules available. Clinic work hours fall between 7:30am and 7:00pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 7:30-2:00pm (we are closed on Sundays). Please disclose any scheduling conflicts you may have when applying.
