Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct skill assessments to determine the client’s strengths and areas of need
  • Create a treatment plan that maximizes their strengths and addresses their deficits
  • Implement the plan in a way that works for the client’s and family’s unique needs
  • Provide direct services to the client or supervise highly trained behavior therapists (depending on the case)
  • Collaborate with other members of the child’s team (other providers, school, etc.)

Possible opportunity to run a group class with up to 5 kids/teens in Glen Head or Locust Valley.

Job location: Nassau County, Western Suffolk County

This is NOT a remote job. Candidates must be able and willing to work with clients in-person.

Although candidates in all areas will be considered, there is a high need for candidates able to work in Western Nassau.

Hours: Part-time

Salary range: Competitive rate for the right BCBA

Zeal provides services to children and adolescents with Autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADD/ADHD, and other unique learning needs, in order to assist them in functioning independently and living an integrated life.
