Orion Connectivity Services, Inc. specializes in cutting-edge low-voltage solutions, including fiber optics, security camera systems, and network infrastructure installations. We’re looking for a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. If you have experience with fiber installation, camera setup, network programming, and structured cabling, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Overview:
The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including fiber optics, security cameras, patch panels, and switches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cat 6 cabling, programming, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and test fiber optic and Cat 6 cables, security cameras, patch panels, and switches.
  • Perform camera system installations, programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Install and maintain network infrastructure and patch panels in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Set up and program network switches to ensure seamless connectivity and security.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in fiber optic installation, Cat 6 cabling, and camera systems.
  • Knowledge of patch panels, network switch programming, and camera setup.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (preferred but not required).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
