ORION Education and Training has openings for part-time, temporary Summer School Teachers in Wichita at their Juvenile Detention Facility. Monday through Thursday, 8 to noon. June 2nd through June 20th. Bachelor’s degree in Education or Substitute teaching license. Position will be responsible for teaching, instructing, grading and record keeping for all students attending the Juvenile Detention Facility program sites this summer. Preferred skills: technology proficiency, verbal and written communication, organization, and the ability to facilitate in class learners, and the ability to remain calm and professional during times of chaos and crisis.
