Senior Process Engineer - Gasification and Biosolids Group
Our client, an innovative and growing holistic solutions company that reduces, separates, and converts challenging wastes, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their Gasification and Biosolids group. This team focuses on developing cutting-edge wastewater treatment technology, utilizing renewable and waste energy sources to create environmentally sustainable solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the commercialization of novel gasification technology and biosolids handling processes.
Location : Murfreesboro, TN (suburb of Nashville)
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead process design for gasification equipment, including systems to convert syngas to liquid products.
- Develop mass and energy balances using tools like Aspen Plus.
- Design P&IDs, process control strategies, and create process equipment specifications.
- Oversee the preparation of pre-FEED and FEED packages and assist with project permitting.
- Prepare cost estimates and review equipment proposals.
- Participate in project-related activities such as pilot demonstrations, factory testing, and system commissioning.
- Travel periodically to project, customer, and vendor sites as required.
