  • This is a full-time contractor role payable at $28 per hour

We are seeking an IT Shop Floor / Deskside Support Technician to join our IT team. This role is responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting IT systems on the shop floor. The technician will provide first-level troubleshooting, manage IT tickets, and ensure the smooth operation of IT applications supporting the production line.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain IT devices on the shop floor.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
  • Create and manage tickets in the IT request management system.
  • Support IT applications critical to production line operations.
  • Assist with mobile device management and configuration.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to IT support processes.

    • Technical Environment & Minimum Requirements :

  • Experience working in a manufacturing and office environment.
  • IT experience is required , with prior Help Desk experience as a minimum.
  • Proficiency in :

    • Active Directory (user and device management)

  • Ticketing systems
  • Office suite applications
  • Request management systems
  • Mobile device management

    • Nice to Have Skills & Experience :

  • ServiceNow ticketing system experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing IT environment .

    • Qualifications & Work Environment :

  • Industry Experience : IT sector required; manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Certifications : No professional accreditations required.
  • Work Style : Collaborative team environment.
