The ideal candidate will have prior experience on a dredge or marine vessel and possess knowledge in rigging and tying barges and vessels. They must also be able to properly and safely operate skiffs and vessels up to 36', including towing, docking, inspection, and maintenance of these types of crafts.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with deck duties as assigned by the Mate or Deck Captain.
- Support barges and vessels with day-to-day operations.
- Perform daily checks on vessel and engines, making general repairs and reporting deficiencies and major repairs to supervisor.
- Loading and unloading personnel and equipment safely and efficiently.
