The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine structural engineering, with expertise in designing complex marine structures such as port facilities, wharves, liquid cargo terminals, bridges, and causeways.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design of marine structures, ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project proposals and bids
* Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and growing our market share
* Supervise engineers and project management team members, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
* Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
* Professional Engineer license in the US or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months of hire
* Minimum 10 years of experience in marine structural engineering design
* Strong knowledge of marine structural design principles, engineering standards, and construction materials
* Excellent communication and project management skills
